If you’re following me on Twitter (@JasonCosmo) I’ve already mentioned these items there, but for those who prefer to get their updates the old-fashioned way, on a blog, here is the latest:

• Hero Wanted E-book: I plan to release Hero Wanted in ebook form on Smashwords.Smashwords is an ebook publishing platform that makes ebooks available in at least seven formats, without DRM (which I detest – pfft! Death to DRM!) You can read a Smashwords book on your iPhone, Blackberry, Kindle, Sony book thingy, or your computer. Hero Wanted is NOT yet available on Smashwords, but many other books (not written by me) are–so check out Smashwords.
• Hero Wanted cover art: The contract is in hand, the artist is painting, and the cover illustration is due at Trove Books by June 1.  Maybe sooner if we’re lucky. After that, the cover designer has to do her thing, so add a couple of weeks maybe. But the cover should be ready for the world to see before the end of June.
• Hero Wanted release date: August 2009 is still the plan. Eek! Only 3 months to go! I should get one of those countdown clocks.
